Well, here we are, another year in the cold!! The temperature today, at 9 o'clock in the morning, is -16 but it is sunny! haha. No snow, a little disappointing but that's OK, maybe we will be lucky and get a snowstorm while we are here and can go sledding! All kids love that, even the old ones like me!
Our arrival yesterday was very emotional, as it has always been. Kids were really happy to meet, even though it was for the first time. One of the miracles of Facebook is that people can actually 'meet' before and start being friends, and like every year, I hope many of these starting friendships become ever-lasting relationships. We truly thank Pingree families and staff for being so warm and hospitable. They have always made us feel at home despite the distance that usually separates us from one another.
